Many students thinking about a career in law are left wondering where and how to start.  While the cost of schooling is non-trivial often it is the cost of applying which p

Admittance into a competitive law school requires an impressive résumé, including stellar test scores.  LevelBar helps you achieve those high scores on the LSAT, and also helps to prepare you for law school.  Our year-long program of classes, workshops, and individual tutoring culminates in a grant that gives you the time and the resources to study competitively for crucial admissions exams.

The weight of the LSAT

A prospective graduate student's performance on graduate-level aptitude tests, including the Law School Admission Test (LSAT), are heavily relied upon tools used by the admissions offices of academic institutions in the United States to assess the fitness of potential graduate students for matriculation into their programs.  Scores on these tests are crucial factors in the determination of which students are selected for admission.  Adequate preparation for these tests is vital for all potential applicants, and requires ,a significant investment of time and test-specific training.  LevelBar assumes that all applicants, regardless of financial resources, ought to be given equal opportunity to prove their academic fitness on these tests.

How we can help

LevelBar's primary function is to support students as fully as possible in their pursuit preparation of for a graduate jurisprudence degree in the year preceding the first year of graduate school matriculation.  The support provided will take multiple forms.  The first is to provide financial assistance to enable applicants to attend professional test preparation by covering both the cost of the course and basic living expenses to enable highly focused study.  The second, crucial form of support will go beyond the financial and test-specific coaching to include admissions and writing workshops, mentorship, and opportunities to interact with professionals in their chosen fields.  This intensive architecture is designed to prepare students not just for the LSAT, but also to guide and inculcate our scholars into the culture and nuance of the legal industry, an invaluable asset.  LevelBar scholars—having been accepted into the program—will work with our tutors and volunteers for a full year during the application process and leading up to their first days at school.
